Karaoke tonite was the bomb. Because finally, I feel that 45bux per head is worth paying for. Of course, when you melayan from 7 till almost 12 midnite karaokeing! Plus free buffet! Plus free the extra extra stuff  because we took the party package for 5. So we got 3 jugs of soft drink, 1 sparkling apple juice, tid bits, snacks a.k.a the goreng goreng stuff and a fruit platter aside from free delicious buffet!. Wanna know more? Im working on the umnokursk.com website for some final touch. Been trying to work on it for 2 days and im somewhat disappointed with the outcome. My web tech skill is gone, officially. Its so rotten that I took 2 days to produce just that. But anyhow, I have to make it as simple as possible, as any magazine based wordpress theme requires a lil bit of tweaking over here and over there including when publishing a post. And im not the only authors/contributors there. I.e. other authors are not web/wordpress savvy.. I mean, worse than me. Ops!.

Had Desperate Housewive’s S4 marathon last Sat night, only to regret it because the next day had to wake up at 9am (after zillion wake up calls..plus after only 4 hours sleep), and rushed to Bangi for my cousin’s engagement. And hence, I went there without taking my shower because I thought of continuing my sleep in my cousin’s hs. Not smart eh. Yeah. Because later that I knew, we were supposed to go to his fiance’s house which I thought would be only accompanied by old folks (note - parents, uncle and aunties only). So there I was, unbathed, with no make up and a basi face of mine, at someone’s I barely know house, for my cousin’s engagement. Yey. Super great. 

Watched Susuk just now. OMG… scary movie. Definitely got my 5 star for a local movie. Its realistic. Its scary. Its definitely a must watch movie of the year. Wow, Malaysian movies are getting better. Though it took me about 10 minutes post-movie discussion to really understand the story line. Heh heh. But still, now that is one Malay movie worth watching at the cinema. Seriously.

The things you do if you’re in Malacca for one day:

1. Go to a local tailor and make few baju kurung. 
2. Go eat good local specialties at Restaurant Peranakan.
3. Don’t forget to eat chendol!
4. Buy pineapple tart. Famous!
5. Buy jackfruit chips a.k.a. kerepek nangka. An awesome product which is made in Vietnam, imported in Hongkong and packed in Malaysia. Yea. And it costs you RM8.50 per 120gm of kerepek nangka. But it was worth it.

By the way, watched Meet Dave yesterday at Cineleisure. Ill give it 4 out of 5 lah. Eddie Murphy is soo soo freaking funny. 

Anyway, goodbye Kak edea. See you.. errr.. in 2/3/4 or more years? Your call. Haha. Thanx for the drinks and I had great time last night at Frangipani (or is it double N?) even though there are few straight guys for me to eye on. Hahaha. But it was really fun and we should do it again some other time my classic mak nenek cousin. Bummer if you won’t be here for my sisters wedding because it would be nice to have you during the bachelorette party. Woo la hoo. 

So tonight, it was Kak Ayu’s wedding. Of course, wedding wedding wedding. It was a really beautiful ceremony with matched outfits and all at Dewan Jubli Perak. Can get some ideas for my sister’s future wedding too. Haha. Omg. Its really happening. Everyone’s getting married. My generation, all (or many) are getting married. I can’t handle it. Hahaha. Then after this the part getting our life together to prove something to ourselves, and then comes the getting old part and lastly getting ready to be buried 6 feets under part. -_-. 

Oh well.

Went to watch short + sweet Malaysia at KLPac. It was a last minute thing with Ruzana. Well since we had to cancel our karaoke plan yeah. But hey, the show was worth watching. 15 bux je kut. (or was it a student’s price). Hmm.. featuring young talented Malaysians and their original ideas/plays?. I was told that all those who participated are actually volunteers. Wow. But anyway, definitely im going for another 10 short plays (or is it short stories?) next week because juliana, ruzs sister gonna be in it. Hmm.. like sister, like sister?..Sista sistah!.. (Ape la aku melawak ni). Ehe. I dont really get some of the plays. Aha, prolly its because im not a seniman person?. But I like ‘after hours’ most because i can interpret it easily (its subjective i know). My interpretation - ghost story. Kan senang direct. Ahaha. Really. I dont know. I used to be the type of person who likes to analyze things, interpret this and interpret that when it comes to art. But now, I assume i have lost that ability. LOL. Im not that ‘deep’ anymore. But overall, I like the all the plays. ‘Spot’ got me thinking. My, I am grateful for the beautiful rare friendships Ive got. About the shoes story, well.. Im still like what??? Just married was funny and real.  

Nowadays, other than anything related to medicine/class/exams, I dont really like to think. I dont like to watch movies which makes me think so hard. Come on. Its supposed to be entertaining right. Im tired of thinking. Let me enjoy my days and give my brain a break. Its summer holiday for god sake. The only thing you should be thinking of is your weight (which obviously I couldn’t be bothered also, looking at how much I eat and having ur family tells u to slow down..geez..where’s the love ya all even if Im fat!). 

Ended the night after having dinner (my meal of the day because Rita’s cooking still sucks) at old town kopitiam. Minum minum di kedai kopi dan borak borak kosong.. I like. Haha. Practical attachment ku.. gone with the wind. Mati la aku. Ah dont care. Fun now. Trouble later. 

P/s: you know sometimes when you travel, and suddenly you have nothing to do.. or waiting for someone/ something and you really have nothing to do. Well, now i can text my twitter updates and do things like “hey i saw a bad hair monkey across the road” — (just a random example) using my mobile phone, and it will appear on the top right column of this website. How cool is that. Or i am the out dated one here?. Maybe I am. Haha.

What is interesting in KL? Seriously, if you ask me that, I can answer..err none?. Movie? Still have loads of movie unwatched. Sports.. not only I never go to the gym on the 6th floor, or swimming, (blame my appendectomy) I even got Wii sports to make me sweat.  Sight seeing. You gotta be kidding me. So what else?. But I still dont know why, every time I go out, the minimum I will spend is 50 bucks. ANd hell I dont know where it went. Oh yeah. Food. Looks like there is still something you can spend on. Because Rita’s cooking sucks big time.

Suggestion anyone?
